What to Wear on Easter Sunday: Outfit #1

When I was a little girl I loved picking out my Easter dress.  It was so exciting getting to try on all those pretty dresses.  Afterall, who doesn’t love getting a fancy new dress?  Nothing much has changed.  I still love picking out my Easter outfit.  This week we’re talking all about what to wear for Easter.  There’s something for everyone from fancy options to casual ones, so let’s get into it!

This first outfit option is the Modified Vacay Dress.  I originally purchased this dress for our honeymoon to the Gulf coast.  It’s also the quintessential Easter dress, right?  I mean, just look at those colors and the floral pattern.  The problem is this is a sleeveless dress.  In some places this isn’t a problem, but it’s still chilly this time of year in the upper Midwest.  This called for some modifications to make this work for Easter.  I paired the dress with a long-sleeved tee and a white shrug sweater.  Adding a white sweater would also work, but I didn’t have one that worked with this particular dress.  Depending on what the weather decides to do this Easter, I have a couple different shoe options.  For one version I picked out some blush pumps and for the other some tall brown boots.  Which is your favorite?
